ABOUT MATTHEW RYALLS I’m a writer and cultural researcher. I make writing, collage and books, with interests spanning sex, class, fashion and queer life.
My background is in fashion styling and editorial work, followed by around fourteen years teaching fashion communication and styling in higher education. That experience informs how I work with images, references and cultural context.
Through SEXCULT, my publishing imprint, I publish my writing and visual work. My current projects include The Desire Quartet, which begins with Desire Loop and continues with Stealing Beggar’s Milk. The following titles in the series are Surface Tension and Self Serviced.
